Itinerary for an 8-day/7-night Morocco tour
Day 1: Arrival to Morocco - Welcome in Marrakech!
Our driver will meet you at the Marrakech Airport and take you to your Riad, which is situated in the center of the medina. Spend the day relaxing and enjoying your stay; get some rest at the riad to prepare for the amazing Morocco tour that lies ahead. Visit Marrakech for the night.
Day 2: Ouarzazate, Telouet, Ait Ben Haddou, Marrakech, and the High Atlas Mountains
After breakfast, drive into the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260m) in a private car around 8:30 AM. Take in the stunning scenery and pause for pictures as you go. Before proceeding through the Ounila Valley to the UNESCO World Heritage Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, which is well-known for numerous movies including Gladiator and The Mummy, visit Telouet Kasbah. Proceed to Ouarzazate and check into a hotel for the night.
Day 3: Nkob, Alnif, ouarzazate, Draa Valley, and Merzouga Desert
Following breakfast, proceed to the Draa Valley, which is well-known for its enormous kasbahs and palm groves. Before reaching the Merzouga Desert, make a lunch and photo stop in Nkob or Alnif. Your journey starts there. To get to your rich desert camp (Dihya Luxury Desert Camp or something like), exchange your car for camels and ride across the golden dunes. Overnight and dinner under the stars.
Day 4: Spending a full day in the Sahara Desert
Return to camp for breakfast after waking up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes. Spend a day discovering Erg Chebbi, stopping by nomadic families, fossil sites, and Minerals Oasis. Enjoy Moroccan tea while taking in live Gnawa music at Khamlia village. Transfer to your accommodation in the desert in the afternoon so you may relax and take in the sunset. Dinner and spending the night in the luxurious camp in the desert.
Day 5: Merzouga, Rissani, Erfoud, Todra Gorges, and Dades Valley
Visit the local market in Rissani after breakfast (open Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays). After touring fossil workshops in Erfoud, travel via the Touroug and Tinjdad palm orchards to arrive at the breathtaking Todra Gorges, one of Morocco’s most breathtaking natural landmarks. After a quick stroll, proceed to the Dades Valley. Stay in the valley overnight.
Day 6: Dades valley, Rose valley, Skoura, Ouarzazate and Marrakech.
Drive along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs after breakfast and take in the expansive views of the Dades Valley. Visit Kasbah Taourirt in Ouarzazate after traveling through the Roses Valley and Skoura Palm Grove. Return to Marrakech in the afternoon after traversing the Tizi n’Tichka Pass and the High Atlas Mountains. arrival at Marrakech at approximately 6:00 p.m. Spend the night at Riad.
Day 7: Local Guided tour to Explore Marrakech
Meet local native guide for a full-day city tour of Marrakech after breakfast. See the lively Jemaa El Fna Square, the Madrassa Ben Youssef, the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and the Koutoubia Mosque. Enjoy some free time in the afternoon relaxing at your riad or wander through the souks. Visit Marrakech for the evening.
Day 8: Departure from the Marrakech Airport
Before your flight, have breakfast and some free time. Make your way to the Marrakech Airport to depart.
