3 days Marrakech to Fes via Sahara desert
Day 1: Marrakech – Atlas Mountains – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Films Studio – Dades Valley
- Travel toward the magnificent High Atlas Mountains early in the morning after leaving Marrakech.
- As we travel along the winding mountain roads, take in the stunning surroundings.
- Visit the well-known Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, which is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and take in its eye-catching architecture.
- Proceed toward Ouarzazate and stop at the Atlas Studio, a popular destination for movie sets and studios, if you’d like.
- Travel through the stunning Skoura Valley, which is renowned for its old kasbahs and verdant palm trees.
- When you get to Dades Valley, make your way to a quaint hotel or riad for a relaxing night’s stay.
Day 2: Dades Valley - Todra Gorges - Erfoud - Sahara Desert
- Take a tour of the breathtaking Todra Valley following a delectable breakfast.
- We pause along the road to take in the splendor of this picturesque valley, where you can’t help but marvel at the imposing cliffs and abundant vegetation.
- Take an optional one-hour hike to fully experience the surrounding natural environment.
- If you have time and inclination, visit a cooperative of rugs and carpets to discover the art of traditional workmanship.
- Enjoy lunch at a spotlessly clean, well-regarded eatery where you can sample authentic Moroccan fare.
- Proceed in the direction of Erfoud, which is well-known for its fossil business, and reach the desert region an hour before dusk.
- Take a camel ride that will transport you into the center of the sand dunes so you can see the captivating sunset.
- Upon arrival, enjoy Moroccan tea and delicious pastries at the opulent glamping site, Dihya Desert Camp, which is tucked away in a quiet spot.
- Savor a delicious meal at the camp while listening to traditional drum music by the fire (weather permitting; if not, enjoy it inside a roomy tent).
- Spend your spare time lounging beneath the stars or taking a romantic stroll with your significant other among the neighboring dunes.
Day 3: Ziz Valley, Atlas Mountains, Cedar Forest, and Ifrane the route from the Sahara Desert to Fes
- Get up early to see the captivating Sahara Desert dawn. (For the most beautiful atmosphere, it is advised to wake up thirty minutes before sunrise).
- Savor a delectable breakfast at the camp while taking in the tranquility of the desert surroundings.
- Leave the camp and make your way back to Fes. The path you’re on today will pass via the gorgeous Ziz Valley.
- Travel throughout the Atlas Mountains, which provide amazing vistas and candid photography.
- To see the entertaining monkeys, pause in the cedar grove.
- Visit Ifrane, sometimes referred to as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” which is well-known for its European alpine architecture, to continue the journey.
- Your amazing journey will come to an end with a drop-off in Fes, which is anticipated to happen by late afternoon or early evening.

- Sandboarding: Take a swing at sandboarding around the camp on the neighboring dunes.
- Buggies, horseback riding, quad bikes, and more: Take part in extracurriculars to make the most of your time in the desert.
- Note: We can arrange for a 4WD vehicle to transport you to the camp if you would rather not ride camels.
