Our company offers a three-days travel. desert tour starts from Marrakech to fes. It involves camel trekking in Erg Chebbi in a calm desert camp tent, You overlook Azrou, Ifrane, cedar forests where you see Macaque monkeys, Ziz valley, Todra gorge, Dades gorge, and more.
Desert Tour itinerary: From Marrakech to Fes
DAY ONE: FROM MARRAKECH TO OUARZAZATE
The guide will pick you up at 08:00 am, the first day starts from Marrakech to the Dades Gorges via the Tizi-n-Tichka, Atlas pass, with far-reaching overview from the mountains, heading to the ancient High Atlas Berber villages. Then you continue to visit the UNESCO World Heritage site, then you have lunch at one of the restaurants of the Kasbahs.After you we continue the journey to Dades gorges through Skoura and rose valley. We will spend the night in a tranquil kasbah in Dades gorges.
DAY 2: FROM DADES GORGES – TO MERZOUGA.
The day starts with breakfast, our team will drive you from Dades gorges to Erg chebbi directing to desert at Merzouga. Berber villages are distributed alongside the way. We will go through Todra Gorges, Tenghir, Tinjdad, Jorf and Erfoud in which we’ll feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet. Then we continue driving to a Hotel in Merzouga, after relaxing a few minutes you will take some of your luggage in a small bag (just the necessary for the night in desert) and leave the other luggage in the hotel. Afterwards, we will ride the camels on an adventure crossing the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. This is a golden opportunity to take great pictures of the sunset and sunrise. The time we reach the camp, we will walk on feet to the highest sand dunes for sand boarding and to watch the sunset. We will spend, or stay up, the night in a camp (Berber nomad tents) with drumming music in the middle of the Sahara.
DAY 3 : MERZOUGA FES
Our team will wake up early morning to enjoy the sunrise on the top of the dune in the Sahara desert and you take your breakfast. After these joyful moments, you will ride your camel back to the hotel where you can shower. You will depart to Errachidia via Erfoud, Aoufous and the valley of Ziz then stopping for overlook of the oasis of Aoufous in the Tafilalte region. We Continue to Midelt across the pass of Tizi N’talghamt and have lunch break. And directly after lunch you will be driven to Fes (the medieval city) through the Cedar forest near Azrou and the mountain of the middle Atlas with the possibility to see the Barbary apes (monkies). You may have a stop in Ifrane before arriving to Fes. Drop off in Fes. And not forget to wish you a safe travels and some great moments spent with us throughout your life.
