Your desert adventure begins with our desert tour departing from Fes. We’ll commence the journey by picking you up from your accommodation, heading southward towards Ifrane and Michelifen, passing through the captivating Middle Atlas mountains. Along the way, we’ll make a stop at the cedar forests, where you might have the chance to spot the elusive Barbary Apes in their natural habitat (please note their presence isn’t guaranteed, but we’ll make an attempt to encounter these “friendly monkeys”.)

Continuing on our route, we’ll traverse the Tizi Ntalghamt pass, leading us to the town of Midelt. As we follow the winding path along the Ziz Gorges, carved into volcanic rock, you’ll be treated to panoramic views of the Middle Atlas landscapes. The scenery gradually transforms, offering glimpses of the desert terrain as we approach the city of Errachidia.

After a satisfying lunch, our journey will take us through the picturesque Ziz Valley, leading us to Erfoud or Rissani, and finally, Merzouga. Upon arriving at the camel parking area, you’ll embark on a captivating camel ride, guiding you to a luxury camp nestled in the heart of the Sahara desert. The camel trek typically lasts about 1 hour and 20 minutes, ultimately bringing you to the camp where luxury tents await. These tents are thoughtfully equipped with comfortable mattresses, warm blankets, and plush cushions, ensuring a cozy night’s rest under the desert sky.

Following dinner, we’ll gather around a crackling campfire, relishing the enchanting melodies of traditional Amazigh (Berber) drums while gazing at the awe-inspiring night sky adorned with countless stars. It’s an unforgettable desert trip that promises a true immersion into the beauty and culture of Morocco’s desert landscapes.

The camp’s friendly team will rouse you from your slumber in the early morning, granting you the opportunity to savor the breathtaking Sahara desert sunrise from the summit of the dunes. Following this mesmerizing experience, a hearty breakfast awaits you.

After bidding farewell to these joyous moments, you’ll mount your trusty camel for the return journey to the camel parking area. Your onward adventure will take you towards Marrakesh, as you traverse through notable destinations, including Arfoud, Rissani, Alnif, Nkob, Agdz, and the picturesque Draa Valley. Continuing on, you’ll pass through Ouarzazate and ascend the Tizi n Tichka pass. As the day progresses, our dedicated driver will ensure your safe return to your Riad or Hotel, with your arrival anticipated in the late afternoon or early evening, completing your memorable desert tour.
