Your 5 day itinerary from Fes
Day 1Fes – Cedar forests and monkey troupes of Azrou – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert
Leave Fes and travel through the cedar-forest area near Azrou towards the Ziz Valley. Continue to Merzouga, where you spend the night in the desert area.
Day 2Merzouga area – Rissani Market – Erg Chebbi – Camel trek and overnight in berber tent
Explore the Merzouga region, with a visit to Rissani when the schedule suits. Continue to Erg Chebbi for your camel-ride and overnight camp arrangements.
Day 3Merzouga Desert – Todra Gorges – Palm Groves of Tinghir – Dades Gorges
Travel from Merzouga towards Tinghir and the Todra Gorges. Continue through the changing valley scenery to your overnight stop in Dades.
Day 4Dades Valley – Kasbah Amridil – Palm Groves of Skoura – Ouarzazate
Leave Dades and follow the route through Skoura, including the Kasbah Amridil area. Continue to Ouarzazate for the night.
Day 5Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Tizi n’Tichka Pass – Marrakech
Visit Ait Ben Haddou before crossing the High Atlas via Tizi n’Tichka. Take breaks on the mountain road and finish the journey in Marrakech.
