Your 10 day itinerary from Marrakech
Day 1Arrival in Marrakech
Meet your driver at Marrakech airport and transfer to your riad. Depending on your arrival time, settle in or take a first walk near Jemaa el-Fnaa. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 2Marrakech with a local guide
Explore the medina with a local guide, including its souks, historic streets and selected monuments. Discuss your interests before the walk; entrance fees and opening hours vary. Keep the afternoon flexible. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 3Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Valley
Cross the High Atlas via Tizi n’Tichka, with breaks for mountain views. Walk through Ait Ben Haddou, then continue through Ouarzazate and the Valley of Roses towards Dades. This is a full road day, so sightseeing stops depend on the pace and conditions. Overnight in Dades.
Day 4Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Merzouga
Travel to Todra Gorge for a walk beneath the cliffs before continuing towards Merzouga. Near Erg Chebbi, meet your desert team for a camel ride or an arranged vehicle transfer to camp. Enjoy dinner and a night in the Sahara. Activities depend on arrival time and weather.
Day 5A full day around Erg Chebbi
Take time for the dunes and a 4×4 excursion around the Merzouga area. Discuss stops such as Khamlia and local settlements with your driver. Any family visits should be arranged with the hosts’ agreement. Return to a hotel or riad near the dunes for your second desert night.
Day 6Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Middle Atlas – Fes
Leave the Sahara and follow the Ziz Valley towards Midelt. Continue through the Middle Atlas and the cedar-forest area near Azrou, with breaks along the way. Arrive in Fes in the evening after a long transfer. Overnight in Fes.
Day 7Fes with a local guide
Discover Fes with a local guide, walking through its medina, craft quarters and historic lanes. Choose visits according to your interests and ask your guide about accessibility and entrance costs. Overnight in Fes.
Day 8Fes – Middle Atlas – Beni Mellal – Marrakech
Return to Marrakech through the Middle Atlas and the Beni Mellal region, allowing regular breaks. This is another long driving day; ask us about an extra overnight stop if you prefer a slower journey. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 9A flexible day in Marrakech
Enjoy a day at your own pace: revisit the souks, relax at your riad or ask us to arrange an optional cooking class, garden visit or hammam. Optional activities are quoted separately. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 10Marrakech airport transfer
Transfer to Marrakech airport at the agreed time. Share your flight details before travelling so we can plan the departure comfortably. An alternative finish or an extended stay can be discussed when requesting your quote.
