Your 12 day itinerary from Casablanca
Day 1Arrive at Mohammed V International Airport – Casablanca City Center
Meet your driver on arrival at Casablanca airport and transfer to the city. Settle into your accommodation and keep any sightseeing flexible around your flight.
Day 2Casablanca – Rabat
Explore Casablanca before travelling to Rabat. Spend the rest of the day discovering the capital at a pace that suits your arrival and plans.
Day 3Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes
Travel from Rabat through Meknes and Volubilis towards Fes. Leave time for the historic sites and road breaks along the way.
Day 4Full day exploring Fez
Explore Fes with a local guide. Walk through the medina and discuss which historic sights and craft areas you would most like to see.
Day 5Fez – Cedar forest – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert
Leave Fes through the cedar-forest and Midelt regions, then follow the Ziz Valley towards Merzouga. Settle in after the day’s drive.
Day 6Explore Merzouga area – Camel trek and overnight in luxury desert camp
Spend the day exploring around Merzouga before your camel-ride and luxury-camp arrangements. Ask about a vehicle transfer if you would prefer not to ride.
Day 7Merzouga Desert – Toudra Gorges – Palm Groves of Tinghir – Dades valley
Leave the desert and travel towards Tinghir and the Todra Gorges. Continue to Dades for the night, with time for the valley scenery.
Day 8Dades Valley – Kasbah Amridil – Palm Groves of Skoura – Ouarzazate
Follow the route through Skoura and the Kasbah Amridil area to Ouarzazate. Pause at the stops agreed with your driver rather than rushing through the day.
Day 9Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Tizi n’Tichka Pass – Marrakech
Explore Ait Ben Haddou before crossing the High Atlas via Tizi n’Tichka. Continue to Marrakech and settle into your accommodation.
Day 10Day trip to Essaouira
Spend the day in Essaouira, with time for the medina, sea views and lunch. Return to Marrakech after your coastal visit.
Day 11Marrakech walking tour
Explore Marrakech on a walking tour. Discover the medina and the sights agreed with your guide, with breaks to enjoy the city along the way.
Day 12Marrakech Medina – transfer to Airport
Enjoy any remaining time in Marrakech before your airport transfer. The schedule depends on your flight and will be confirmed in advance.
